Help Arlene, Kayla & girls rebuild their life.

Arlene has been a valued employee of the Southern Humboldt Unified School District (SHUSD) for over 40 years and she is a staple in the community. She was working her second job when she received a call from her daughter, Kayla, telling her that their house was on fire. Kayla was able to safely get her two daughters as well as their cat and dog out of the house. However, their home was destroyed and they lost all of their belongings. Kayla is also an employee of SHUSD and is going to CR to earn her degree in Early Childhood Education. Both of her daughters attend Redway Elementary School. This fire was a profound tragedy for this amazing family. It has been completely devastating for Arlene, Kayla, and the girls. They lost absolutely everything! Please help them get back on their feet. They will need to find new housing, replace what was lost, and rebuild their lives.
