Support Arroyo Repertory Theatre's Arts Journey

GIVING TUESDAY.....

To Our Loving and Supportive Community during this time of Giving,

Arroyo Repertory Theatre (ART)’s Leadership Team is looking toward this year’s “Season of Giving”. We asked ourselves, “What shall we ask for? What is appropriate during this time? What does the future hold for ART, an arts and education organization?“
ART has been through a season of change, having lost our home of over 20 years, we find ourselves searching for a new home. In the meantime, we are committed to promoting and amplifying unseen and unheard perspectives and voices.
After much deliberation, here is our answer: Our team has produced engaging events where we have invited others to share in artistic communion. We seek to continue what we started over 20 years ago.
Here are our asks:

SANTA’S WORKSHOP
On Saturday, December 21st, ART is presenting
Santa’s Workshop. Through the generosity of the Altadena Community Church we have a location for our annual event, a free, hands-on holiday themed toy making experience for children aged 5-11. We ask for your help to offset the cost of the event: facility use, craft supplies, refreshments, etc.
$1500.00

STORAGE
Since we vacated the facility formerly known as Porticos/ St. James UMC on Oct 1, 2024, we placed our theatre equipment and supplies in storage. Our storage costs are $800 a month. We are actively searching for a new location, but in the meantime, our resources are being used to keep what makes ART function in storage. We ask for monthly support as we continue to search for a new space. We estimate an additional 6 months of storage until we settle on a new facility.
$4800.00

EDUCATION- ACTORS AND WRITERS WORKSHOP
And Lastly,
ART continues to work in education and developing talent and dedication. We host a writers workshop and acting workshop every week and have been since before our tenure at our former facility ended. Cost for these workshops has been offset by ART in times past in order to provide this important piece of our mission free to members of our community. Now we find ourselves needing to fund a facility to house our education. A facility has been offered at $250.00 a month. We ask for 6 months of support to offset this expense.
$1500.00

Our goal is to continue producing during this time. Location for each upcoming event will be shared with all of you, our most fervent and gracious supporters. Any amount is welcomed and we thank you as you help us reach our goal.

Vision: Creating a Vibrant Arts Community.
We dedicate our work to support, reflect, and celebrate artists of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures. Thanks to our partnerships with the community and our donors, we are able to provide a platform for the voices of many in our community. In sharing our worldviews with others, we grow stronger as a community.

With love and our deepest gratitude,

The Leadership Team at Arroyo Repertory Theatre
