Help Artefaktual Rebuild Our Community

Hello everyone,

I'm reaching out to you with a heart full of hope and a humble request. My name is Gretch Corley, and I'm the proud owner of Artefaktual, a beloved community hub for reading, playing, and artistry. After facing immense challenges at our previous location, including frequent flooding and structural and health issues, we were forced to say goodbye to our old space.

But fear not, because we've found a new home for Artefaktual, a space filled with promise and potential. However, the past year has taken its toll on our finances, leaving us unable to afford finishing the necessary renovations to transform this space into the vibrant haven it deserves to be.

Our new landlord has graciously given us the green light to customize the space according to our needs, but time is of the essence, and he's unable to assist us as quickly as the community needs. There's a laundry list of tasks that need to be tackled before we can open our doors again including: replacing ceiling tiles and overhead lights, replacing the floor in our game room, repairing damaged paneling, removing old and exposed plumbing, installing a new work sink, and making the bathroom accessible to all.

Despite these challenges, we've already made significant progress. With the help of our community, we've cleared out debris, expanded our game room, salvaged materials for repairs, painted walls, and received helping hands from our new neighbors at Mountain State Quilting and Bless This Food throughout. Their generosity has been such a blessing during this challenging time, and we're grateful for their camaraderie.

But there's still a lot of work to be done, and we need your support to make it happen. Your contributions will allow us to expedite the renovation process and bring Artefaktual back to life. With your help, we'll be able to host game nights, art therapy projects, comic book clubs, anime nights, and more, fostering creativity and connection within our community once again.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to our goal. Together, we can ensure that Artefaktual thrives once more, serving as a beacon of art and expression for years to come.
