Help Artist Alma David Waite

I first met Alma ( his name means: "Soul") when was I was 17 years old and starting college in Boise Idaho. I had no idea at the time how postively impactful this relationship would become in my life. Since then he has been one of my oldest and most precious loyal friends. I was honored to be the best man at his wedding when I was just 21 years old and am honored to still be a part of his family's life today. Since 1991 until now Alma has been a nothing short of a real big brother to me, spiritual advisor and LIFE CHANGING soul in my life and those lucky to be close to him. He is a stunning and uncompromising devout artist (Both the front and back covers of our album "Behind the Veil"), a practical joker, a Dad, a Husband, a Son, a very hard worker and above all a person willing to give anything and everything to his family and friends. Here are his words below that his son Lennon helped him write. Alma was worried it might need more humor, if that tells you anything more about why we love him so much.

Alma and Lennon write:

"Hi, my name is Alma Waite and I need to reach out to you guys.

I’m a father of three, a loving husband, and caretaker of my parents, my mom currently being on hospice.

I recently went in to get my toe checked out due to some pain and a week later I left the hospital without my toe entirely and having undergone a bypass operation in my leg due to several blood flow blockages. As a Type 1 diabetic, these complications aren’t uncommon, but they still knock you off your feet, literally. Type 1 also makes it more difficult to heal from these things, which isn’t great for me.

Bills were kind of a beast to handle before this, but especially so now that they’re compiled on top of medical expenses and I’m not going to be able to go back to work for some time. And on top of that I still need to take care of my parents I’m losing the ability to do that right now.

It’s times like these that you don’t look for sympathy, but you stand tall and simply do what you need to do. I’m just trying to take care of my family and make my friends proud, my family proud, and my ancestors proud, but I really need your help now. Any donation will not only help me as I recover but also sustain my family’s wellbeing, which is all that matters to me. Thank you so very much."

Alma has always been very health conscious and I promise you will be doing everything he can to get and stay healthy after this healing can happen.
