Help Aryn Johnson with medical bills caused by Gun Violence

What was supposed to be a nice evening out for dinner with her aunt, Aryn Johnson was the victim of a horrible act of gun violence.

On Thursday evening, June 27, 2024, Aryn and her daughter were on their way home after having dinner with Aryn's aunt. Aryn pulled into her driveway and a man hiding behind a tree in their yard, wielding an AR15, walked up to her vehicle and shot her. Multiple shots were fired and she was hit 5 times. 3 bullets went into her chest and stomach and 2 went into her side. Aryn shielded her daughter and intercepted bullets that could have injured her. By the grace of God, her daughter was not injured. Her sons were also at home on this horrific night and witnessed this horrendous act of violence from a man they did not know. Aryn was taken to a local hospital, and thanks to the rapid and skillful care of medical professionals, Aryn has been brought from life-threatening injuries to a critical but stable condition.

God has preserved Aryn's life... HOWEVER, she has many serious injuries. Aryn has had multiple surgeries to help save her life. Although, she is not out of the woods yet. She is still in the ICU and is currently relearning how to breathe on her own and needs continuous support on a ventilator. At this time, due to bullet fragments near her spinal canal, she has lost feeling from her waist down. Aryn has a very long road to recovery ahead of her.

Aryn is a hard-working single mother of 3. She has raised 2 boys into strong, and incredible young men on her own and she is raising her daughter into a strong, independent young lady. When people think of Aryn, they say she is a giving, loving, strong, and a highly educated woman. She has always been there for her family and friends. She would help anyone in need.

The costs associated with Aryn's recovery could be in the hundreds of thousands. While some insurances are in place, they will not cover all of Aryn's medical expenses and include intensive rehabilitation, therapy sessions for her and her children, equipment, supplies and other unknown medical necessities in the future.

Your assistance will help to relieve Aryn of the mounting financial challenges while moving forward, with faith in God, that Aryn will have as close to a 'new-normal' lifestyle as possible.
