Help Ashby’s GP get through COVID-19

On March 4th 2020, Dillon, Brian and I took a risk and became the proud owners of the Ashby’s Sterling Ice Cream in Grosse Pointe Woods.  My cousin Dillon and I were 22 and 23 years old respectively when we took over, and we were nervous but excited to have this incredible opportunity and responsibility at such a young age.  We looked forward with optimism, but a little over a week after we got started COVID-19 took over.  The community rallied to support us and we had a decent summer, but without Little League baseball for most of the season it wasn’t enough to get us through the winter.  The cherry on top of our bad-luck sundae: the deadline to be operational and eligible for PPP and EIDL aid is February 15, 2020.  We started our LLC in March of 2020, and, consequently, we have not received any aid from the government.  We humbly seek your support to get us through the winter of this uniquely challenging year so we can continue the rich legacy we inherited.
