Help Ashlee and Tanner with baby medical expenses
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I am Ashlee’s mom and I am starting this fundraiser for Ashlee and Tanner to help with the expenses that will come with having a baby with a critical congenital heart defect.
Ashlee and Tanner are pregnant with twins. Unfortunately Twin B has been diagnosed with tricuspid artresia and pulmonary atresia with ventral septal defect and transposed great arteries. That essentially means the baby’s arteries are on the wrong side of the heart and one of the valves never opened to form one of the bottom chambers of the heart. Ashlee will have to deliver at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Ashlee and Tanner will need to relocate around 32 weeks. Baby will need to be on a medication for an extended period of time so her lungs can develop. After that she will need a minimum of 3 open heart surgeries. One within a few weeks, one at 3 months, and one at 2-3 years. After the surgery baby will remain in the NICU for a minimum of 4 weeks and a chance she would have to stay up until the 3 month surgery. Twin A also likely has a ventral septal defect but the cardiologist is fully expecting this to close on its own. They are facing several trips back and forth to Minneapolis in between now and delivery.
I have set up a checking account with Capital One Checking that is connected to this fundraiser for Ashlee and Tanner and the money will be directly transferred into that.
The donations will be used for hotel rooms, living expenses, gas, food, and supplies that they will need while traveling back and forth to Minneapolis as well as anything they may need while they are staying in Minneapolis for what could be several months. We are also unsure if Tanner will be able to work so this would help cover some of his expenses as well.
Please do not feel obligated to donate but it would be so helpful if you would be willing to share this on your social media.
Thank you for all of the support!
