Please help save Ash-Lee with lifesaving cystotomy

Hi, about 4 years ago I rescued Ash-Lee from an abusive home where he was neglected while I was living in the UAE.
He is an extremely friendly boy who at 6 years old still loves to play and chase shadows! Ash-Lee joined my other 2 cats (Missy & Starbuck) on our overseas journey to Canada when Covid hit, and has been very happy and a delight with any people he comes across, including the times he’d be at the office with me.
Unfortunately a misdiagnosis occurred recently at a vet when he was started on very aggressive anti-biotics and painkillers for what we thought was a UTI, which turned out to not be the case further testing revealed he has bladder stones.
The wrong course of treatment ended up exasperating poor Ash’s condition (where he was not able to urinate properly) and at the second vet after a single set of bad results they jumped immediately to recommend we euthanize him! A perfectly healthy boy who over the span of about 10 days was constantly being pumped full of the wrong meds and painkillers with his actual condition not being treated!
This sudden prognosis didn’t make any sense but luckily my sister demanded we get a second blood panel done once the immediate obstruction was corrected and wouldn’t you know it all his vitals returned to normal, and he’s even started eating again.
At this point Ash-Lee has been transferred between 3 animal hospitals and we are awaiting a surgical consult in order to proceed with the Cystotomy, but it is extremely cost prohibitive. I don’t think that money should be the deciding factor in whether or not we end an otherwise perfectly healthy and happy life!
So far we have spent about $5000 between all the jumping around and wrong diagnosis, and are expecting at least another 6-8k for the surgery, not including after-care. If this had been caught correctly at the first vet, we would have gone for the Cystotomy immediately (instead of the other procedure that simply removed the obstruction without looking into what was causing it.)
Ash has bounced around multiple vets from Hamilton to Etobicoke to Newmarket and we finally know what we need to do to save him. Since the follow up blood panel as well as a catheter to allow him to finally urinate and get his kidneys to do what they’re meant to, Ash has started eating again and is clinically stable and in good health awaiting the surgery.
Any funds raised will go towards what we have left to cover for his procedure and the after-care and follow ups.
Please help us make sure that we do everything we can to get this loveable fluffy boy back on his feet so he can continue chasing random shadows and lying on his back while friendly people give him belly rubs. Thank you.
