Help Ashley and The Shaw Family

Hello!

My name is Ashley Shaw. I'm a mom to 3 amazing kiddos ages 10,13 and 14. Life has been pretty rough to us, as the last 6 years I've endured 80 surgeries to treat the 2 main rare brain conditions. My kids have been absolute troopers for me. We unfortunately learned recently that one of my conditions , Idiopathic Intercranial Hypertension is no longer in remission.

I'm reaching out today because I'm desperate to make sure my kids have some sort of semblance of our lives before this disease takes over again. In order to do so it's imperative that I see 2 specialists, one in Maryland and one in North Carolina. My local doctors have done everything they can and it's now all up to these specialists to find a new solution.

Since relapse I've lost almost all my vision in my left eye, my right eye is beginning to show signs of this same complication. Intense daily headaches leave me vomiting and unable to stand for any length of time. It's crucial I get to these specialists to stop this disease from progressing.
