An Amazing Wife And Mother

Ashley was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in January 2017, and on her 30th birthday she had a double mastectomy. She is now undergoing chemotherapy and after that she will have radiation treatments.

When Ashley and I met in 2011, we fell instantly in love. It didn't take very long for us to get to a point where we wanted to spend every single day together. We couldn't stand to be apart.

Ashley and I were married in 2013 on a beautiful day in late October. We each have a child from a previous relationship, and on that day they stood with us while we exchanged our vows. Ashley's daughter, Vera, was Flower Girl and my son, Ethan was Ring Bearer. 

Not only were we joined together in marriage, but our families were as well. We all poured sand into a jar during a special ceremony to signify our coming together.

In January of 2016 on a cold wintery morning, Ashley gave birth to our beautiful baby boy Elliott Oliver. We had talked about wanting another child to complete our family, and we planned the coming of our little boy with all of the excitement and joy a parent can have.



An Amazing Artist And Seamstress

In 2014 Ashley and I launched our small business ActionPink Customs. We were following our passion to create beautifully crafted handmade items to sell in an online store while being able to work from home and spend more time with our children. With an extensive background and experience in Costume Design and the ability to sew anything, she and I created items for our shop inspired by pop culture and vintage pin-up style.


A Devastating Diagnosis

Our lives raising our children at home has been wonderful, and with the addition of our baby, Elliott Oliver, our family has been complete. 

A short time ago, Ashley discovered a lump on her left breast during a self examination. She had the lump looked at, and after a series of ultrasounds, biopsies, and tests, we learned that the lump is malignant. She has been diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and will have to have surgery and chemotherapy.

Because our small business is our primary source of income, we will not be able to support our family and pay for the medical expenses for her treatment. One of Ashley's biggest fears entering her treatment is that her family may become homeless due to her inability to work and provide for her family.

We know that we have to move forward with a positive attitude and with as little stress for Ashley as possible, and I am hoping that this fundraiser will help her worry less about bills and expenses and focus more on winning the battle against the breast cancer that threatens to break her family apart. She is such an amazing wife, mother, and individual. She needs our support, and anything you can do will go a long way to supporting her recovery.
