Help Ashley recover from domestic violence

On Tuesday, October 4, Ashley was physically assaulted by her former partner. We've created this GoFundMe in response to the huge outpouring of support Ashley has received since that night.

According to this study (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6161830/) posted on the National Library of Medicine, intimate partner violence ends up costing women over $100,000 over their lifetime. We hope to act fast to provide Ashley the support she needs in order to avoid this event causing such a drastic financial impact on her life, on top of the other healing she has in front of her.

Ashley is suffering from a concussion, pinched nerves, and soft tissue damage that has rendered her unable to work. She requires medical care, legal aid, and income replacement while she is out of work. This money will also help her recover from necessary and unexpected expenditures such as changing the locks on her apartment and getting a new phone number and plan.
