A gal’s gal, Ashley Starr came back to Minnesota from California to help her dad through tough times, and is now experiencing tough times of her own.
- She lost her mother last year.
- She’s helping her dad through his cancer treatments this year, taking care of the house, his meals and driving him around.
- The time away from work to help her dad was not paid time off.
- Her beloved Juliana bike was stolen at her Santa Cruz, California storage locker.
- Along with her bike being stolen, her credit card that she was expecting in the mail was stolen, and someone else has been it using all summer.
$10,000 is a meager estimation of what she has lost for taking time off from work, for having a bike stolen, and for having a credit card stolen. Insurance and law enforcement have not been helpful. If you can provide some monetary support, I am sure she would appreciate it. Looking to send the funds to her by September 1st.
I met Ashley at Dangerous Man Brewing and through various bike related events. She lived down the street from me & helped me during my own difficult time.
