Help Ashley Study Abroad in Japan!

Hello! My name is Ashley-Nine. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English - Writing & Rhetoric at Georgia Gwinnett College, and I also hold an associate’s degree in English from Georgia Highlands College.

As an English Major, I know how enriching it is to learn about the world around me and the people in it. It is for this reason and more that I have always had the desire to immerse in new cultures and expand my worldview. When I learned that my school was offering the opportunity to study abroad in Japan, I jumped at the opportunity and am so thankful (and thrilled) to have been accepted.

For me, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and one that I need your help to make happen!

With your contribution, I will be able to study Japanese culture, language, and spiritual traditions at Otemon Gakuin University. I will also have the privilege of traveling to Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Tokyo to engage with Japanese history, culture, and customs.

I know that studying in Japan will be unlike any experience I have ever had. I can only hope that you see the value in me having these experiences as well.
