Help Ashlyn Foster start a new life.

Ashlyn Foster is a 31 year old developmentally diverse (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) person. On March 30, 2024, her husband died suddenly and tragically at age 33.

Ashlyn was totally financially dependent on her husband. She is reapplying for Social Security and Medicaid benefits. This process will take at minimum 10 months.

She is now temporarily living with her mother. As her mom lives in a senior retirement community, Ashlyn has a time-limited stay.

I have been a friend of Ashlyn’s parents, Phil and Kathy Foster, for 50 years. Before retirement,Phil was a psychotherapist, and Kathy was an ICU nurse. They are now divorced, and live on limited, fixed incomes.

These funds will be used for housing, food, and medical until Ashlyn can secure more government assistance. We estimate those expenses to be at minimum $2000 per month for 9 months, for a goal of $20,000.
