My name is Mohammed, and I am spearheading a crucial fundraising campaign to evacuate my friend Ashraf and his family from Gaza through the Rafah/Egypt crossing. The ongoing conflict has made it perilously unsafe for them to stay.

Ashraf has lived his entire life under siege in Gaza, facing relentless military actions and life-threatening conditions daily. In October 2023, the conflict escalated drastically, devastating Ashraf's newly built home and jeopardizing the lives of his family, including his wife and their two-month-old son, Yamen.

"I'm Ashraf from the war-torn Gaza. Since the resurgence of conflict last month, the home I built was destroyed. I mourn the loss of our safe haven, but more urgently, I need to secure a future for my family away from the constant threat of bombings that have become our grim reality. Our goal is to raise enough funds to evacuate safely and start anew, away from the shadow of war. Every small contribution brings us closer to safety and rebuilding our lives."
