Help Ashton Represent Australia in America 2024!

Hi everyone,

In January, Ashton Sweeney, a 16-year-old bull rider from Quirindi NSW, competed at Bendemeer for the Australian High School Rodeo Finals. Ashton finished in the top 4 and qualified to compete in Rock Springs, Wyoming in July this year.

We have set up this GoFundMe page on behalf of Ashton to help with travel expenses so he can achieve his dream to compete in America as a proud young Australian bull rider.

Without the kindness and generosity of others, this wouldn’t be possible, and we thank anyone who donates from the bottom of our hearts. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and as we all know life is too short not chase our dreams.

Ashton has worked hard on his bull riding career and in the last 6 months, Ashton has been on fire with 8 wins, multiple placings and now 2 buckles to cherish. In the beginning of 2023, Ashton set out with two goals.

1. To make the ABCRA top 15 and qualify for the National Finals.

2. To compete in the Australian High School Rodeo Finals and be in the top 4 to qualify for America.

Proof that with hard work and a strong mindset, anything is possible, Ashton achieved both!

Ashton finished the year sitting 3rd in the country in the ABCRA standings. A brilliant effort in the finals, he finished 2nd in the average with a 3rd in round 1 and 2nd in round 2.

Now off to America to compete, we couldn’t be prouder of him! He deserves this opportunity, and we truly appreciate any help we receive to help him get there.
