Help Asiah and Dionna Recover from Eaton Fire

Donation protected
Dear Everyone,

As many of you know, the recent Eaton Fire has brought unforeseen challenges into our life. While we are grateful for the safety of our loved ones, the road to recovery is daunting.

I have created this GoFundMe campaign to seek your support during this difficult time. Your generous contributions will provide much-needed relief and help us navigate the uncertainties ahead.

For those who may not know, we live right across from Eaton Canyon, we did not receive an evacuation notice. Fortunately, our neighbor, who was out walking his dog, alerted all 48 units in our community to evacuate. We had only five minutes to grab essential paperwork and three days' worth of clothes before leaving. Although embers were flying all over our property, we managed to get out safely.

Out of the 48 properties in our community, only 8 remain standing, and ours is one of them. We initially hoped to salvage our belongings and move back once things settled. However, we have just been informed that our property is no longer inhabitable, and most of our belongings are not salvageable.

We are now without a home and actively searching for a new place to live. Many people have reached out wanting to help, and while we didn't think we needed it at first, we now realize the support would be greatly appreciated

Thank you for standing with us as we work towards rebuilding and healing.

With gratitude,
