Help Asian Youth Services support its community!

Dear Global Citizens,
Want to be a part of a difference? Your donation to Asian Youth Services, a non-profit based in Chicago since 1992 located at 3117 W. Lawrence, will assist in purchasing school supplies, books, hot-meals, and necessities such as milk and eggs for underserved communities and migrants in Chicago.
Shari, the core-leader at AYS works tirelessly by herself to keep AYS open M-F during after-school hours to provide approximately 25 students ranging from first grade to high-school with a meal and tutoring sessions such as piano and art lessons and homework help. Shari also provides the students families with necessary groceries such as bread, milk, and eggs while keeping a small-pantry at AYS. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a lack of tutor volunteers and donations which has limited AYS's efforts in providing beneficial after school tutoring sessions and necessities.
We have set a $25,000 goal to help AYS with food and tutoring needs for one year. This funding will allow AYS to redirect its efforts to best support its members and community as a whole.
A little bit about AYS's official mission:
Our mission at Asian Youth Services is to provide the community's at-risk youth with high-quality educational experiences and mentoring relationships that will equip them to succeed in school and in life. While our name reflects our origins, our program has continued to evolve with our community. We now primarily serve children of second-generation Southeast Asian refugee and first-generation Hispanic immigrant families.
If you would like to assist by providing volunteer tutoring hours for subjects such as math and science, please reach out through GoFundMe's contact option. We are appreciative of your time and assistance.
Thank you!
All the best,
