Help Asjad and her Family Escape War in Sudan

Hello! I am making this gofundme on behalf of Asjad (or as friends lovingly call her joodz) to help her and the other 5 members of her family escape the ongoing war in Sudan. Money will be going towards flights and accommodations towards Egypt and some extra to help the family settle as they process an extremely traumatizing experience.

Here are some words from her:

I'm Asjad and I'm from Sudan. I made this campaign to Evacuate with my family of 6 (me , 2 sisters, a brother and my parents) outside Sudan.

We weren't well off before the war but we were getting by. We lived in a rental but we managed.

My dad would work as a taxi driver in his car after his hours at a government job. My mother is housewife. She couldn't work because her health won't allow her. she has multiple chronic illnesses to which she is receiving medications; Dietetics for 20 years, Has Hashimoto thyroiditis, RA and osteoarthritis).

When the war started we couldn't leave because we didn't have the means to and we used every single penny we own and have been living off the help of our relatives for months. We had to evacuate our house and were internally displaced last October after multiple harassment incidents.

At that time my father's car (the only item of value we own) was stolen.The place we seeked shelter in (still inside Khartoum) kept getting worse and worse by the day. Bombing and frequent clashes. with power cuts , lack of food and water and complete network blackout.

So we had to leave and where displaced again for the 3rd time. But no matter were we moved the death and destruction follow us.

And after my brother and father were injured while fetching water we couldn't stay a minute longer.

The collected funds will be used for our travel expenses, my mother health care and my siblings education (I've 1 sister in middle school, 1 in highschool and my brother was supposed to start university).
