Help Asmaa, her children and Mom Survive Winter in Gaza
Donation protected
Dear friends,
My name is Sharon Taylor, I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The purpose of this campaign is to help one family in Gaza who is struggling to stay alive. If you care enough to do something real, then please donate with me to help my friend Asmaa Hassanat, her mother, Neven, and her precious children, Ibrahim and Sara.

Asmaa has come to mean a lot to me. We chat over Instagram frequently after she has gotten her hungry, war stressed children to finally fall asleep. They are already very cold at night in their tent among tents in Mawasi Khan Younis. Winter brings heavy rains and their drafty cloth shelters get soaked along with the shivering humans inside.
Asmaa must now buy urgently needed winter clothing, medicine and food to get them through Gaza refugee tent camp this winter.
I want to tell you more about them…

Asmaa Hassanat is Mom of 2 children. Ibrahim, age 6, and Sara, age 3. This photo is of Ibraham’s 5th birthday last year, before they were chased from their home that was then demolished.

This family fled to live in a refugee tent camp in Mawasi Khan Younis, Gaza.

Asmaa has bravely shown her strength in so many ways, amazingly completing her bachelor’s degree online with only her mobile phone during this last year of war.
Once in the refugee tent camp, there was no way to earn any money to live. So Ahmed courageously went back to the rubble that had been their family home, desperately seeking any cans of food that might still be there.
Enemy soldiers killed Ahmed!
The heroic protector left behind his sister Asmaa, her young children whom he had championed and his mother Neven. Ahmed’s baby Hassoun along with Asmaa and her mother, Neven now have no one to go out and seek survival each day for them.

Asmaa’s brother, Ahmed, with his niece and nephew whom he loved deeply.
Asmaa’s father remains in poor health in hospital. Medicines have become very expensive. Ahmed’s baby Hassoun is now 1 year old and urgently needs winter clothing, diapers and milk.
Just recently, grandmother Neven has become so diminished from the grief of her son Ahmed's death and very difficult life in the tent camp, that she had to be hospitalized.
Humanitarian aid from the world outside Gaza has just been blocked, as you may know, and the only way they can now get anything is to walk to nearby towns where shopkeepers charge them insanely inflated prices for what little they can buy.
Yet this is the ONLY way available to them to buy any of their most desperate needs. At the moment, this family needs $2500 to get then some warmer clothes, blankets, medicine to survive in their tent as this war continues through the cold months ahead.
This is your personal chance to impact history for this family whom I love. I want them to survive this war! Please demonstrate your love and compassion during their darkest hour.
You actually can make a difference as an individual, donating to individuals directly, when big nations and humanitarian organizations can’t even do so right now!
I deeply thank you all who will kindly and generously donate to help my dear friends. Many thanks for kindly reading my request and much love to you all.
