Help Atef and Luzian get out of Gaza

You may have seen the viral image of a young girl crying at a food bank in Gaza, captured by @mahmoudhamda on Instagram. That little girl is Luzian Algoz, just 5 years old. Her heartbreaking story is one of many untold tragedies unfolding in Gaza today.

Luzian is part of a family of 10. For the past few months, they’ve been displaced in the Khan Yunis area of the Gaza Strip. Her father, Atef, once worked in a textile factory and had dreams of continuing his education to provide a better future for his children. But today, those dreams have been replaced by a daily struggle for survival.

Atef and his wife, both in their 30s, are doing everything they can to care for their children. But the reality is grim. The family is running out of food, water, and essential supplies. Atef is desperate to work again, to rebuild his life, and get his children back into school.

This is where they need your help. Your donation will help them escape the dire conditions in Gaza and secure a safe future for their children. Together, we can give them hope for a better tomorrow.
