Help Audra and Lauren Rebuild - Altadena Fire

Dear Friends,

We're reaching out to raise money for our dear friends Audra and Lauren who were suddenly and drastically affected by the Altadena fires. We have witnessed time after time how they always show up for everyone around them -- so let's show up for them.

Audra, her boyfriend Jordan and their pup Booger have lost their home and everything in it aside from what could be grabbed during a quick evacuation. Lauren and her daughter Zoey have lost their home, memories, and belongings after being members of the Altadena community for years. Help us pull together to help them rebuild and find some stability as they begin to heal from this unimaginable loss that too many are experiencing right now.

UPDATE 1/11

AirBnB requests that all fundraisers for victims of the LA fires share more information for transparency. Lauren and I first met Audra during our time in college working at a boutique together and have been friends ever since. Lauren then met our friend Lauren while working at her first job out of college and we all became friends through her.

Early Wednesday, Lauren and her daughter's home was one of the first taken by the fires with almost no time to evacuate at all. Lauren had lived in the Altadena area for a long time and loved their community so deeply. Shortly after the fires took Lauren's home, Audra and Jordan's was taken as well. Audra and Jordan had moved in a few months prior and were building their home and life together. Even though they hadn't been in the Altadena community as long, it had become their home.

They are now beginning to process this immeasurable loss and starting to take the first steps forward. Initial donations will help secure temporary housing/food/clothing and eventually support the additional purchase of replacing furniture and a more permanent living situation.

We are filled with love and gratitude for the support of our friends and their community, which we/they are looking forward to helping rebuild.
