Help Audree Perform at Carnegie Hall

Hi everyone,

I am looking for help in funding a once in a lifetime educational opportunity to go perform at Carnegie Hall in New York this November. My name is Audree and I am a senior at Winona High School and I play clarinet. This past school year, I achieved a personal goal of making the ATSSB All State Band. A few months after All State Band, I received a letter inviting me to audition for an opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall. After completing the application and recorded audition process, I was selected as one of the performers on Bb clarinet.

I believe that this would be such an incredible opportunity for me to expand my love for music in the most prestigious performance hall in the country. Having participated in the All State Band has shown me how much programs like this can strengthen my passion for music. Getting to participate in a national program like this will help expose me to musicians from all across the country and world renowned music educators. This experience would also help prepare me for future participation in college band and later in life.

I was so excited when I found out I was chosen as a finalist for the Honors Performance Series, I had to read the email many times to make sure it was right. This would be such an awesome experience for a small town East Texas kid to experience. I would greatly appreciate any support that you could offer to help me achieve my goal so I can attend this great experience.

Some of the highlights of this program are:

-Practice and perform at Carnegie Hall

-Work with master conductors and composers

-Rehearse and interact with other students from around the country

-Get to see Times Square

-Attend a Broadway Show
