Help Audrey Koller Fight Dishonest House Flipper!

Help raise Attorney fees $20,000.00

I am Audrey Koller, a disabled senior citizen, and widow/surviving spouse of a US Army Veteran awarded a service connected death. (As to understand VA Home Loan eligibility). I need to raise $20,000 for my Attorney fees.

I was sold a $121K home, did not know the home was “Flipped House” with structural damages total repair cost: $125K Damages that were not disclosed in seller’s property disclosure. 

I hired an Attorney immediately after all estimates were received, November 2022. His retainer: $10K and I had already spent $8K in damages. (rat infested damages to kitchen cabinets & bathroom cabinets, AC return vent/unit, homes entire waterlines) 

•VA Loan Laws in “Minimum Property Requirements”. The VA Appraiser is supposed to use in passing all homes. Failed me!

VA Appraiser stated in report “Home Structure has been well maintained”.

•Mississippi State Law; Seller must submit a full Termite Inspection; I was not told this inspection avoided inspecting the homes main wooden structure by accessing the crawlspace.

I was given an incomplete termite inspection.

•Home Inspector lied and failed me too! He outright lied in his report. I hired and paid for additional inspection. He claimed no crawlspace access but he scoped the crawlspace and everything looked good.

•All repair estimates I received including a pest control company, 2/plumbers, 2/experts in crawlspace and foundations had no problems accessing the crawlspace in the open clear crawlspace entrance.

Repairs needed:  support blocks, structural girders, joist and sub flooring and interior flooring must all be replaced. 

Wet crawlspace “must be” thoroughly dug out and cleaned removing all the toxic red & black molds and capsulate crawlspace adding French ditches and 2 sub pumps before structural work.

Brief history:

The first day unpacking I was hit with $8,000.00 in repairs including cleanup of a rat infestation including :AC  return & vents, rebuilding kitchen/bathroom bottom cabinets. 

After $8K in repairs, I resumed unpacking when my foot went through flooring. The realization I am in big trouble.  

Seller also continued his dishonest  “rigging instead of repairing” the list of exterior repairs contingent to house contract before sale. Again I was given false/fraudulent information.
