I know I make a lot of jokes about being a cat lady and over-post my cats on instagram, but Auggie truly means the world to me. I was really trying to avoid this, but I could use some help.

Auggie had his first seizure on March 28th early in the morning and then another one early the next day. After an initial screening with the neurologist, it is highly recommended that he receives an MRI to understand the cause as he is showing other symptoms of neurological concern. There can be a few reasons for this; head trauma as a young kitten, an infection that reached his brain, or god forbid, a tumor.

Without the MRI, we have no way of knowing. I wish I had pet insurance prior to the first seizure, but unfortunately this is a cat owners worst nightmare and one I did not foresee.

It is very humbling to to ask for financial help, but I could really use it. If you’re able to spare anything at all or share this with someone who can, I’d be forever grateful. As would Auggie and his sister Winnie.
