Johnathan Lee, known as “John”, is a 2009 Princeton High School graduate. At Princeton, home of the Vikings, he participated in various sports with football being his passion playing wide receiver. Throughout the years John gave back to the community and mentored the youth. He also loves to travel. John is the youngest of 3 boys and a proud uncle of his only Nephew Dj whom he spoiled and always made sure he stayed on the right path. December 2019 John was told the devastating news that he has been diagnosed with T Lymphoblastic Lymphoma (Cancer) which is a very rare sub type of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. John underwent countless treatments of chemotherapy as well as radiation and months of being hospitalized. Finally this past July, his mom gave him a gift of life and donated her stem cells for transplant in hopes of beating the T Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. John spent approx 45 days in hospital after transplant and was doing well. As we know with any transplant there are risk for potential complications. On September 8th, 2020, on his Mom's birthday, John was hospitalized once again for Graft Versus Host Disease. Known as GVHD a condition where the donor stem cells attack the recipient. Unfortunately this disease has attacked his Lungs causing John to go into Respiratory Failure. Numerous Chest tubes were put in to help with his diseased lungs but all was unsuccessful. John struggled to fight through and to breathe on his own until he couldn’t fight anymore and he was placed on a ventilator to assist him in giving the breathes he need to sustain life. His mom has exhausted all funds, PTO and Vacation time from her employer while she stays by his bedside 24/7 praying that her baby boy come to. She reassures him that she is by his side and not going to leave him. The mounting medical bills continue to add up and the monthly household bills continue to occur, that is why we are asking for any monetary donations that you can give to help John and his Mom. It would be perfect and greatly appreciated!
