Help "Auntie" Val Move to Denver
Donation protected
For over 40 years, Val Taylor has been an upstanding member of the Home Farm and Snake Valley Community. Suppose you were a "Baker kid" like me. In that case, chances are you got to attend a summer camp in Cedar City, a spelling bee competition or NASA camp for young astronauts from the generous scholarship fund that she started and maintained all her years in Baker. As Justice of the Peace, Unofficial General Mayor and "Auntie" for so many, Val has spent her entire life providing for and giving to the community.
Due to recent health issues and general difficulties living alone, Val has agreed to move in with her sister in an apartment in Denver, CO and leave her Nevada home. Countless family and friends are supporting this brave and challenging move.
So, here is the ask and an opportunity to give back to this incredible woman. Any amount you can donate to this fund helps cover the costs of moving and setting up her new home in Colorado. Even $1 helps us reach our goal and get Val safely into her new home. Your donation is helping cover moving costs and furnishing her new "digs" in Denver. Rest assured, in her new home; she has a nature path and plenty of benches on which to sit and enjoy the sun with new and old friends.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping us in this challenging time. Val and our entire family reach our hearts out to you in gratitude.
