The sudden passing of Djiringanj and Ngarigo elder Aunty Colleen Dixon has left her family and the wider community reeling.

Aunty Colleen grew up in Bega, worked as a nurse and raised a family.

She was a passionate artist and many of her works are featured across the region.

She was also an educator and used her skills to inspire many people to create and embrace their culture.

Through her court advocacy she helped countless young people in the community. She was selfless and always had time for others.

She has left behind a loving family who miss her dearly and need your help with funeral costs.
