Lucy and Liam O’Kelly and their 3 beautiful children’s world has tragically turned upside down.

They received absolutely devastating news that is every parent’s worst nightmare.

Ava has Leukaemia.

Ava has just turned 3 years old and she is the most beautiful, loving, kind and caring little girl who is the sweetest big sister to her 19 month old twin brothers Harry and Harvey. Ava warms the hearts of people everywhere she goes with her infectious smile and giggles, bouncing curls and her love for life.

Lucy and Liam have been faced with this horrific and devastating news 1 week before Ava was due to start Pre-Kindy. Ava absolutely loves to learn, she has a love for new facts and she has such a curious nature. Ava should have been skipping into school next week with her new lunchbox in hand. However, her world is now a harsh reality of chemotherapy, lumbar punctures, bone marrow aspirations and blood transfusions.

Ava has now commenced chemotherapy.

This is going to be a long, gruelling process where Ava will live in and out of hospital for many years.
