Help Avanti Employees During Coronavirus Shutdown

Avanti Food and Beverage opened its doors in July of 2015. Located in Denver’s LoHi neighborhood, Avanti is a collective eatery and a culinary incubator for chefs to create unique dishes at affordable prices, paired with thoughtfully curated craft beer, specialty cocktails, and quality wine. Avanti supports new talented chefs and restauranteurs to create and execute their culinary vision for a fraction of the cost of your conventional brick and mortar restaurant. We consider ourselves cheerleaders for the underdog. We strive to bring up small business owners and because of this, 8 restaurants have used Avanti as a platform to launch their own brick and mortar locations.
As well as being a restaurant incubator, Avanti houses 3 full-service bars and employs over 75 front of house people, who have all been furloughed due to the mandated shut down of COVID-19.  Furthermore, we are now learning that unemployment checks may not go out for another 8 weeks. Our employees are incredibly talented, hardworking individuals, some of which have been with us from the very beginning. Avanti would not be anything if it wasn’t for the true dedication of such an amazingly gifted staff. It’s no easy operation and takes a strong team to make Avanti work. It’s a collective effort, and it never stops. Until now, that is.
We are doing the best we can in supporting our team, including continuing to cover their health insurance in full, but we are asking for the help of our community while we go through these unprecedented times.  We have been humbled by the response from our community and guests after what has been an unimaginable few weeks not only for us, but the service industry community as a whole. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support! Many of you have reached out to offer donations to us during this difficult time. And while Avanti loves you all, it’s really our staff who need the most assistance during this crisis. We ask that you consider making a donation to contribute to the livelihood of our dear friends and employees. Every dollar counts and no donation is too small - or simply sharing this post - could have a large impact on our team!

We will upload weekly videos featuring your favorite bartenders making the Avanti staples, along with some of our bartender favorites. After watching our how-to videos, you will now be able to make your favorite Avanti cocktails right from the comfort of your own home! Every cent donated will go directly to the Avanti staff.
Avanti will also have grab and go movie bags made with love by our team.  Proceeds go directly to our employee fund. These bags will be available for purchase starting Wednesday 4.1. Keep us in mind for your next movie night. You will be able to grab these bags at your convenience Wed-Sun from 4PM-8PM.
