In Memory of Avni Elkat: Supporting our Family After a Long Battle

Eight months ago, on January 27th 2024, our beloved father Avni Elkat was struck by a drunk driver that ultimately left him in a coma. Despite his incredible strength and the tireless efforts of medical professionals, Avni never regained consciousness.

On September 10th 2024, after 8 months of living via life support, he passed away, leaving us heartbroken and struggling to cope with this profound loss.

Over the past eight months, we’ve held onto hope, praying for a miracle, but now we must face the heartbreaking reality of moving forward without him.

The financial burden of legal fees has added an overwhelming strain on our family during this time of grief. We are asking for your financial support as we navigate life without him.
