HELP AYYAD'S DISPLACED FAMILY SECURE SHELTER IN GAZA!

Hello, this is Ayyad. A dedicated young reporter and innocent civillian of Gaza.

Ayyad has been persistently striving to gift the people of Gaza a voice. Since the conflict started he has been sacrificing his safety and well being to document the attacks on the Gaza strip. Every day, Ayyad leaves his family to go report and interview the displaced and injured victims of the horrors taking place around him.

Ayyad's words:

"We were living in Gaza and the fires of war broke out, so we were forced to leave our homes where we lived in Shujaiya. It was an area targeted by the Israeli aggression. We miraculously survived as our house was completely destroyed. We moved to our relatives’ house in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood and stayed for two weeks. We were subjected to bombing and destruction, so we had to flee to the southern region. And here the suffering began. We did not find shelter to protect us, so we took refuge in a school in Al-Qarara"

Ayyad's home:

As the persistent push towards the south by the IDF kept going, Ayyad and his family had to get up and leave each time. They kept travelling while in search of refuge, making the best out of the bare minimum they possessed.

Ayyad's words:

"We lived a minimal life, getting our food from the soup kitchen that is was near us. The winter passed with all its harshness. We were exposed to another threat, which was that we must be displaced from Rafah, and the suffering was repeated. The suffering of displacement. We went with our torn tent to Hamad City, then we were threatened with displacement. We fled to Deir al-Balah, and after that we were warned to be displaced. We were displaced to al-Zawaida City, then after that to Mawasi Khan Yunis. Now we are in a worn out, torn tent that does not protect us from the rain and cold of winter. It is also small and not enough for all the family members. All we hope for is for you to extend your kind hearts to us and help us. We are in dire need of assistance. We need money to buy clothes, food, and a tent to protect us from the cold of winter. We do not hope for more than that."

This is Ayyad's call to you for help.

The funds from this donation will go towards gaining the resources needed to build another residential space for Ayyad's family.

The resources needed are as required:

1200 shekels of cloth and nylon

- 800 shekels water tank

- 500 shekels, nails, supplies, and worker’s rent

- 100 shekels for bathroom sewage

- 60 shekels, burlap envelopes

- 900 shekels, a ready made tent for his grandpa who suffers from an illness that limits his movement

-20% charges that are taken during the bank transfer process to Palestine

Total amount: 3560 shekels = 1297 CAD + 20% = 1556.4 CAD
