Help baby Alanna
Donation protected
My name is Alanna and I have a broken heart.
I was rushed to hospital three weeks ago, and what was first thought to be Pneumonia ended up being much worse. They found multiple viruses, and one of them had been attacking my heart. Some machines helped me rest, but I got worse, not better. My organs stopped working, and no matter how hard the doctors tried, my little heart couldn’t take the pressure.
The doctors in Dublin decided that I needed to be moved to Newcastle, because their doctors knew the most about baby hearts. I arrived in Newcastle yesterday. The doctors in Newcastle think I need a new heart.
Little hearts are precious, so I might be waiting for a while. It’s been tough for my mummy and my brothers, who have had to stay strong for me. This has been a very scary and upsetting time; my Daddy passed away unexpectedly a year and a half ago while I was still in my Mummy’s belly. It’s been hard without him, and my family really need me to get better. My mum and brothers have moved to Newcastle to wait with me.
Any donation you are in a position to give will go to keeping my family close to me while we go through the unimaginable. I am so very sick, but my twin, Cameron and older brother, Charlie need their mum too. We all need to be in Newcastle. My family would appreciate donations and also prayers.
