Help Baby Apollo while he is in Intensive Care at SASH

Hey everyone,

If you know me, you know that I really hate to ever ask for help. But after the $30,000.00 in vet bills I spent trying to save our first White Shepherd, Zeus - my savings are completely depleted, and I am now in debt maxing out my credit card for the current vet bill.

I feel completely guilty as Apollo got into my work bag while I was out stocking up the three boys dog food for the next month, and chewed up what I believe to be EIGHT nurofen zavance (of course the quick absorbing one).

He was absolutely fine yesterday, playing with his big brothers and chasing him ball around them house. It wasn't until 4am this morning (sunday the 16th of June) that he had his first vomit. Since then he has had two more and been to the emergency vet - SASH.

After the vet had spoken with the poison control centre, they think it is best that to start with, he is on 24 hour intensive care (that costs over $1600.00 alone, just to be there), he will have an IV, be given activated charcoal, gastro medication to hopefully prevent any ulcers etc. They will be performing in-depth bloods shortly, and hopefully I will have an update soon.

The estimate for this alone is over $3000.00, before anything else is done. We have already paid $1500.00 this morning, too.

I can only hope that he lives up to his kennel name "Warrior Prince" and make it through without any complications. He truly is my little prince, an d after losing my white knight, Zeus, I honestly can't cope with this mentally.

Any funds that are sent through will go directly to helping my beautiful boy fight this and get better.
