Help baby Emmie get a craninal remoulding helmet

This is my beautiful daughter Emilia but she is known to everyone as Emmie

She is 5 months old and hopefully with the help of this fundraiser it will enable us to get her the cranial helmet that she needs.

I noticed the left side of her head had a flat spot when she was around 7 weeks old. We made an appointment with a specialist at align clinics uk, where measurements of Emmie’s head were taken and confirmed she has plagiocephaly and brachycephaly both are forms of flat head syndrome.

The cost of treatment is £2,250 and unfortunately isn’t funded by the NHS as it is not a recognised health condition. Families including mine are often told it’ll sort it self out / the flat spot will just pop back out. However, this doesn’t seem to be all true. If left untreated, both moderate and severe cases can affect facial features, jaw alignment, protruding ears and protruding forehead leading to low self-esteem or being bullied in later life.

Therefore, we kindly ask for any contribution to help with Emmie’s helmet so that she can start treatment as soon as possible.
