Help Baby Fiona's Family

Over this past weekend my cousin’s son, John and his wife Ali became first time parents. Unfortunately their sweet baby girl, Fiona, had to be delivered by emergency c-section. She was not able to breathe and immediately began having severe and almost continuous seizures. They had to airlift the baby from a local hospital near their home in Winchester, TN to Erlanger Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga.

Fiona is in critical condition and most of all needs fervent prayers from as many people as possible. In addition, this young couple, just starting out their married life together, now have astronomical medical bills and face many months, if not years of medical expenses to care for Fiona. They were both employed up until Fiona’s birth, but they only get paid when they can work and that will not be happening anywhere in the foreseeable future.

Due to the severity of her multiple medical problems, her long term prognosis is uncertain. The doctors have already shared with them that she has definitely sustained some brain damage, but they are uncertain of the extent.

Fiona is fighting for her life at this point. What a gift it would be for this family if we could be the hands and feet of Jesus to John and Ali during this very frightening time and lessen their financial worries.
