Help Baby James Bitzer beat stage 4 cancer

Aloha mai kākou,

We have come to learn of the difficult time our good family friends are enduring at this moment. The Bitzer Ohana is grappling with the difficult news that their 3 year old son has been diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare cancer. With this news they are now gearing up and preparing for the fight of their lives. It has been an extremely rough few weeks getting to the point of this confirmed diagnosis, but now with all the information they have, they need all the help that anyone is able to give. First stage of treatment will start here in Hawai’i and preparations are being made for continued treatment in New York where the best possible treatment plan for this condition is available.

Roberta Bitzer is an amazing mother to her two children Numa and James, and works full time as a conservation dog trainer. Jason Bitzer who is an amazing father has been a city and county of Honolulu Lifeguard for many years, saving hundreds of lives. The work the Bitzer Ohana has done, has been of great benefit to the community and ecology of this ‘āina. Being that the Bitzer Ohana will have to relocate to New York, the financial burden is mounting upon them. Let’s kōkua our friends in their time of need. Funds raised will be used for relocation, and James’ medical treatment bills, as insurance will not cover the majority of his treatment.
