Help Baby Kate and her parents through her tumor diagnosis
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
We are asking for your support for Katherine "Kate" Maria Dahlberg and her parents in these difficult times. Kate is the 7.5-month old daughter of our dear friends: recently graduated lab member Dr. Margaret "Maggie" Durdan and her husband, Davis Dahlberg. Kate was brought to the St. Mary's campus on January 12th due to jaundice, where it was then discovered that she had a tumor on the head of her pancreas. Over the course of the following week, she endured multiple tests and procedures to address her immediate health issues and identify the next steps for treatment. Despite all of this, Kate is staying strong. Maggie and Davis, likewise, have been incredibly strong parents, spending every minute with her in the hospital and staying as positive as they can for her sake.
Kate will be undergoing chemotherapy soon to help address the tumor. We hope for a smooth and successful course of treatment that will afford Kate the beautiful life she deserves. During this time, we ask for any financial support that you can give to help offset expenses for Maggie and Davis as they pour their time and energy into helping their daughter to get better.
Thank you all for your support, as well as your thoughts and prayers for Kate. We wish her the best of health, and wish Maggie and Davis the strength to keep smiling for her.
With all of our gratitude,
The Weivoda Lab
