If you know Jacob and Ashley Dunning, you know how long they have prayed and waited to have their first child. After multiple challenges and hardships, their miracle baby is finally here! Maverick William Dunning was born on February 29th at 11:37 a.m. We are all very thankful and excited for his arrival; however, the challenges aren’t over.
Baby Maverick experienced complications with his heart rate frequently dropping and subsequently was born 10 weeks early at 2lbs 11oz and 14.3 inches long. Due to the extremely early birth, Maverick will be required to stay at the Children’s Hospital in St. Louis for up to 10 weeks. Along with the advantage and blessing of the St. Louis Childrens Hospital also comes the reality of many additional expenses incurred from medical, travel, lodging and food costs. Ashley also won’t be receiving full pay during her maternity leave from teaching.
There are many aspects of the long road ahead that most may not be able to help with. However, I’m asking, if you’re able, to show your support for the Dunning's through your financial care, continued prayer and social media share of their journey. Thank you in advance for any and all support!
