Help Baby Osanna Fight Stage III Kidney Cancer

Hello…… Kim Bock (my sister) and myself (Tonya Heath) have set up a GOFUNDME page for Antiono, Ashley and Osanna Valdes. Several family members, friends, and coworkers have asked for a place for them to donate to this sweet amazing family.

My daughter Ashley Valdes, her husband Antonio, and their youngest child Osanna (age 1 year) was admitted to Boston Children’s Hospital. Osanna has been diagnosed with Stage III Kidney cancer. Her cancer is rare and fast growing. She started chemo Tuesday 2/4/25 to shrink the tumor in advance of removing her kidney at around the 6 week mark. She will require chemo for several months.

Their family recently moved to Souda Bay Air Base, Greece in September of 2024. Antonio is a civilian firefighter/paramedic at the airbase. Eleven days ago, Osanna was seen at a Greek Urgent Care where they found a large mass. They were on a plane back to the US within 48 hours. They immediately went to Boston Children’s Hospital ER where she was given the above diagnosis. Osanna (baby “O”) is currently an inpatient due to difficulty regulating her blood pressure. They are hoping to be an outpatient within the next week. This is definitely going to be a long journey for everyone.

Antonio’s sweet sister Rosemary is watching the other three children an hour away in New Hampshire.

If you could please take a moment to donate to our beautiful daughter, Antonio and baby “O” and their super sweet family. Your donation is greatly appreciated! They plan to use the donated money on plane tickets to and from Greece, food, hotels, gas, rental car, and other unexpected expenses brought on during O’s health crisis. Antonio will have to return several times to Greece for work. All six of their family members (4 small children) flew back from Greece to the US for Osanna’s diagnosis and treatment. Their vehicles are in Greece as well as all their belongings except for what was packed in a suitcase.
