GOAL ACHIEVED!! Help baby Siobhan

My younger brother Matt and his wife Alaina recently became parents to a beautiful baby girl named Siobhan. Unfortunately, Siobhan was born with a rare condition that causes contracted joints and abnormally developed muscles throughout her body. That means her major joints are locked into place or severely limited in their range of motion. Siobhan spent the first few weeks of her life in the intensive care unit and remains on a feeding tube because her jaw is affected by the disease.

Siobhan needs dozens of surgeries and hundreds of hours of physical therapy to have hope for a normal life. Her first year of care will be intensive, with surgeries to cut both Achilles tendons, fix dislocated hips and shoulders, and install a feeding tube in her stomach already planned. Her care will be provided by a team of world-class specialists in Seattle, giving her hope for the future. However, access to these amazing doctors dramatically increases the financial burden on Matt and Alaina. The sheer volume of care ahead and Seattle's high cost of living leave them questioning how they will afford everything.

I started this GoFundMe campaign to ensure Siobhan gets the life-changing care she needs. My goal is to raise $25,000 to help cover the costs of Siobhan's surgeries and therapy in the first year of her life. The funds raised will be used to pay for the surgeries to reposition her feet, fix dislocated hips and shoulders, and install the feeding tube, as well as any additional surgeries, follow-up visits, physical therapy, and other medical expenses.
