Imagine welcoming your first child into the world, only to find yourselves trapped in the heart of a war zone just days later. This is the unimaginable reality for Muhammad, Nour, and their baby boy, Tariq.

Tariq was born on October 5, 2023 — just two days before the genocidal war on Gaza began.

His parents, Mohammed and Nour, had waited so long for this moment. Mohammed worked as a cashier and Nour was a skilled translator. They were overjoyed to welcome their first baby and had dreamed of a peaceful home and bright future for their son.

But their dreams were stolen before they ever had the chance to begin.

Just days after Tariq’s birth, bombs began to fall. Their neighborhood was destroyed. Their lives were thrown into chaos. And they’ve been running ever since.

Now, nearly 1.5 years later, Mohammed, Nour, and Tariq are trapped in northern Gaza, where food, clean water, and medical care have nearly disappeared. They’ve been displaced multiple times and are now living in overcrowded, dangerous conditions without a safe place to sleep.

Little Tariq is now almost 2 years old and already fighting illness and malnutrition. He has spent nearly his entire life under bombardment, without steady access to baby milk or even clean water to drink.

We hear from Mohammed only when the rare internet signal reaches him. His words are filled with pain and desperation. His child is sick. Nour is weakened from hunger and exhaustion. They have no shelter of their own. They are doing everything they can to keep Tariq alive — but they can’t do it alone.

What Your Donations Will Help With:

❤️ Basic necessities
Food, clean water, and baby formula to support Tariq’s health and Nour’s recovery from exhaustion and hunger.

Essential items
Summer clothing and shoes for Tariq, undergarments, feminine hygiene products, and personal care items for Nour—essentials they’ve gone without for far too long.

Medical support
Medication, hospital treatment, and emergency care for Tariq and his parents, who are at constant risk of illness or injury in these unlivable conditions.

Shelter
A waterproof tarpaulin, blankets, and basic materials to reinforce their current space. Long-term, they urgently need a safer and more secure place to stay.

Rebuilding
If they survive this and are able to evacuate, they will need to rebuild everything—clothes, beds, kitchen tools, school supplies, and a home where Tariq can feel safe again.

Evacuation fees
If and when the border opens—something completely out of their control—this family will need help covering the massive cost of evacuation:

  • $5,000 per adult
  • $2,500 per child under 12
  • $1,000 in required exit fees
  • $300-400 per person in passport documents fees

Please help us give this young family a chance at life. Your support goes directly to them — no agencies, no delays — just real help in the middle of unimaginable suffering.

Every donation, every share, every kind word matters.
Let’s stand with Mohammed, Nour, and baby Tariq before it’s too late.
