Help Baby Wil’Loh and Her Family Overcome These Challenges
Tax deductible
Hello, my name is Ashley Garrison , and I’m the founder of MoneyWise Community Outreach , a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals and families recover from disasters and navigate financial hardship. Today, I’m reaching out to ask for your support for a family that has been through unimaginable challenges.
Keandra, a young mother battling lupus, went into labor at just 31 weeks during Hurricane Helene. On October 28, she underwent an emergency C-section and has struggled to heal due to her compromised immune system. She now requires a wound vac to recover.
Baby Wil’Loh, born prematurely, has been in the NICU since birth. On January 9, her fight for survival took a terrifying turn when her throat collapsed during the placement of a feeding tube. She needed four minutes of chest compressions to be resuscitated. Now intubated, her tiny hands are bound to prevent her from removing the breathing tube as she continues to fight for her life.

This family’s challenges don’t end there. Hurricane Helene left them homeless, and they are currently living in a hotel near the hospital—an expense that is quickly depleting their resources. Without a vehicle, they rely on public transportation, which adds another significant financial burden.
Why This Is Important to Me
As someone who has witnessed firsthand the resilience of families affected by Hurricane Helene, I feel deeply compelled to help. This family’s strength and determination inspire me, and I believe they deserve every opportunity to heal and rebuild their lives. Through my nonprofit, I am assisting them in securing FEMA aid and exploring other resources, but immediate financial support is crucial for them to survive this difficult period.
How Funds Will Be Used
Your donations will go directly to:
• Covering hotel costs of $100 per night to provide them with safe, stable housing near the hospital.
• Supporting transportation expenses, as they currently rely on public transit to get around, which exceeds $45 per day.
• Helping with daily living expenses and medical bills not covered by assistance programs.
• Ensuring Baby Wil’Loh gets the care she needs while her parents focus on her recovery.
How You Can Help
This family has endured more than anyone should ever have to. Your kindness can bring them hope and stability during this critical time. Every contribution, big or small, makes a tangible difference in their lives.
Please join me in supporting Baby Wil’Loh and her family. Together, we can help them overcome these challenges and start a new chapter filled with hope and healing.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
