Help Baby Wyatt Peirolo Fight for His Heart and Future
Donation protected
On October 3, 2024, at 9:27 AM, Wyatt Harold Peirolo made his grand entrance into the world, weighing 8lbs 6oz and measuring 21.25 inches long. From the start, he was a bundle of joy with a clean bill of health. Wyatt joined his loving family as the second son of Chris and Amber Peirolo and became an adored little brother to Ezra.
Together, the family celebrated milestones like Wyatt’s first Halloween, enjoyed the beauty of fall, and cherished their first Christmas as a family of four—plus their furry companions, Link and Zelda.
But just two weeks into 2025, at only 3 months old, Wyatt’s health took a sudden and frightening turn. Chris and Amber, both with medical backgrounds, noticed something wasn’t right and took Wyatt to the hospital immediately. Doctors at RI Children’s Hospital diagnosed him with rhinovirus, but they also uncovered a far more critical issue—Wyatt’s heart was not functioning properly.
Wyatt was urgently transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital, where he is now battling dilated cardiomyopathy. His left ventricle has an ejection fraction of just 17%, severely impairing his heart’s ability to pump blood. Wyatt has been intubated and is being closely monitored in the NICU. A potential heart transplant is on the horizon, but his medical team is still determining the best course of action.
Amber and Chris have not left Wyatt’s side. With Wyatt’s condition requiring prolonged hospitalization, they are facing an uncertain and challenging road ahead. While their loved ones are helping care for Ezra, visiting them in Boston, and providing emotional support and love, the financial toll of this journey grows - from stays in Boston to lost wages and uncertain medical needs – they really need our collective support!
Amber and Chris need our help. Please consider contributing to help ease their financial burden and allow them to focus entirely on Wyatt’s care and recovery.
Thank you for keeping Wyatt, Chris, Amber, and Ezra in your thoughts.
