Help baby Zane receive ongoing treatment

Have you ever been stripped of your control as a parent or guardian? Since November 5th 2020, that is precisely how I have felt. Unable to stop the frequent seizures, breathing issues or help him to drink from a bottle. Wanting him to have access to the best healthcare but do not have the resources to do so. Undeniably, I have been stripped of my control so that God can have His way in our son’s life.
Our son, Zane Tyler Delancy, was born with several complications that required him to be hospitalized for most of his life. He was quickly diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the age of 2 months. He spent the first four (4) months of his life in the NICU at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas. Doctors advised that due to his diagnosis, he will have delayed development and limited mobility. At PMH they performed a Gastronomy tube placement, a special soft feeding catheter which was later switched to a gastrojejunostomy tube (GJ) by another hospital. He has never been fed from a bottle. We have been using this method of feeding for the majority of his life.
He was later released, but the health complications persisted despite frequent visits to the Doctor and the Hospital. Consequently, we decided to travel abroad to seek further medical intervention. In September 2021, he was admitted to the PICU at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida. Since his admission to the said hospital, several examinations have been done. The results determined that his medication needed to change to stop the frequent seizures and that he needed a tracheostomy, an opening surgically created through the neck into the trachea (windpipe) to allow direct access to a breathing tube. Zane has been on a ventilator since October 2021 due to respiratory issues.
Zane has been hospitalized since September 2021. His medical bills are mounting, and his plan of care for the way forward is medically complexed. We need your support; however minor you may perceive it to be-it will significantly help us to continue his treatment. No amount is too little- because we believe that little is much when God is in it. Your financial seeds will help us tremendously to ensure that he receives the treatment and therapy that he needs in and out of the hospital.
May God bless you richly for giving to a worthy cause. May the three-fold blessing of God be yours today! Thank you!
