Help Backie get Back on track

Robert Back, known by many as Backie, suffered in February with an illness that at the time was thought to be a stroke, after 16 long days in Lincoln County Hospital, Backie was allowed home to be with his family. Lincoln County Hospital undertook many tests and eventually Backie was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

FND describes a problem with how the brain receives and sends information to the rest of the body.

Backie now has a long road to recovery and as a result of this he is unable to return to work, therefore we are asking that you help Backie and his family to find their new level of normal, given the extent of the unknown with the current circumstances. Currently Backie is needing to be cared for by his wife and children and we want to help them financially where we can.
