Help Bailey Rebuild After Palisades Fire

My first and dearest friend from Pepperdine, Bailey Luber, has lost everything in the Palisades Fire. I texted her to check in on Tuesday night, and by Wednesday morning she had replied, “Sorry, yesterday was insane. I am alive and in a plane to Colorado now, but I fear I’ve lost everything.” Yesterday, January 8th, her worst fears were confirmed when she received the images below of the ashes of what was once her apartment.

The home Bailey created in Palisades was the first place that she could call her own. She has lived there for the past year and created a space that truly expressed her love for spending quality time with the people she cares about, as evidenced by her photo wall. Not only has she lost her home, but she has lost so many cherished photos and sentimental items that are irreplaceable. These donations will help Bailey replace the items that she can, but there are some things that can never be replaced.

Bailey has always taken the time to help and give to others without hesitation. I have countless memories of her dropping everything to support me. She is the most welcoming individual I know and would do anything to care for the people she loves.

My hope and prayer is that we can be a source of financial and emotional support for Bailey as she faces one of the most challenging times of her life.
