Help Bailey's Journey to the 2024 Olympics

Hi everyone!

My name is Bailey Greenwood & I am a recent college graduate. A few days ago, I got a call informing me that I was granted the amazing opportunity to be a part of an International Sports Business Program at the 2024 Olympics in Paris! I recognize that this is an amazing blessing and to be able to attend the Olympics on the official Team USA roster is a huge honor! Among hundreds of applicants, I'm excited to have secured a spot in this exceptional program. During this immersive experience, I'll have the unique opportunity to collaborate with Team USA during the Olympic and Paralympic Games—an opportunity of a lifetime. Beyond that, the program offers a plethora of skills workshop sessions led by industry professionals and Olympians, providing invaluable insights and expertise. Additionally, exploring the vibrant culture of Paris and its iconic attractions will undoubtedly enrich my understanding of global business practices. With that huge honor, comes several expenses such as a program fee, airfare, meals, etc, so with that I wanted to share my story as to why this is important to me and if you feel inclined to donate it would mean the world to me.

Being 22 and recently graduating a mere week ago, I am still figuring out my footing in this new chapter. I was heavily involved at Texas A&M before graduating and worked for both Kendra Scott and The Association of Former Students during my time as a student, and the Olympics will give the front row view into all of these experiences combined. I have participated in organizations such as Pi Beta Phi as a philanthropy chair, Aggie ACHIEVEmates, Student Government Association - Diversity Commission, Disability Subcommission Executive Chair, Aggie Miracle on the Recruitment Team, COSGA as a Development Team Member, and The Big Event as a Staff Assistant.

In each of these groups I have been able to lead and be led by several wonderful individuals and getting the call back for this position provides the amazing opportunity to do the same in one of the most renowned sports competitions in the world. Being able to attend would provide several learning experiences, room to grow and develop my leadership skills, and get hands on experience in an unimaginable environment. One of the most exciting aspects of this program is the chance to forge connections with a diverse network of sports industry professionals. These relationships have the potential to shape my career trajectory and open doors to countless opportunities in the future. I would love to return home after spending a few weeks in Paris having gained immeasurable leadership experience ready to be applied in order to best lead and better the world around me wherever I am.

While it is late notice and a quick turnaround, this is a dream come true and to be able to make this a reality is the forefront goal of mine. I would make it a priority to keep you all updated as I share highlights and updates throughout my journey in Paris. If you feel inclined to donate, again, it would mean the world to me.
