Help Bake'n Babes Rebuild After Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
UPDATE 10/3: We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of our community, friends, family, and fellow local businesses. Thanks to the incredible outpouring of support, we’ve been able to secure donations of services, goods, and labor to help with much of the work needed to rebuild. We are truly grateful for each and every contribution, which has significantly lessened the financial burden.
While we are still facing some remaining costs—particularly with replacing crucial equipment and restocking lost inventory—your continued support is deeply appreciated. Every bit helps as we work toward restoring Bake’n Babes to full operation and getting back to serving the Tampa Bay community we love so much.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing by us during this challenging time.
--------
As many of you know, Bake'n Babes has been a staple in the Tampa Bay community for over a decade, with their 11-year anniversary coming up on October 12th. They were recently devastated during Hurricane Helene when over 3 feet of water flooded the entire bakery on Davis Islands.
Over the years, Julie has supported countless local non-profits, schools, individuals, and organizations, including organizing donations for victims of Hurricane Ian two years ago. Now is the time to repay that generosity and help Bake'n Babes rebuild.
As we recently learned insurance will not be covering anything - money raised will go towards damaged equipment (oven, commercial fridges (4), commercial freezers (3), stand mixers, etc.), cost of goods, product and ingredients that were lost, damage to the storefront, etc.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out. I am a good friend of Julie's and have assisted Bake'n Babes with their marketing and social media efforts over the past 5 years. We appreciate all of your support.
