Help Baloo Get Rid Of His Tumour

Hi! My name is Brodie and I'm fundraising for Baloo bear, our 4 year-old staff.

We call him Baloo bear because he's a little teddy bear, a big softy and a sucker for cwtches and kisses. Unfortunately, Baloo has grown a lump on his leg. We have had the biopsy done which has revealed our worse fear, a tumour. Even though he's a happy boy, we need to get this tumour off his leg before it spreads. We have had many quotes off vets and they're approximately £790 for the operation alone, then with added costs of medicine and follow up appointments we're told it's a minimum of £1,000.

Due to the circumstances with Baloos legal owner not being able to afford medical insurance for him, his bill will not be covered for. Of course if it was possible for me to have insured him with the my dog, I would have. Having known Baloo for so long and looking after him, he's a part of my family. He's there jumping up and down ready to go for a walk, and he's there to lick your face and sit in your lap when you cry.. he really is 'mans best friend'. We all love him so much, everyone who has met him has had their heart melt like butter.

After breaking the news to his owner of how much this is going to cost, we have discussed ways to raise these funds for Baloo. We know it's not an option to leave it for a long period of time to save these funds. This needs action now, and we're going to do everything we can to make sure our boy gets the medical help that he needs to live a happy and healthy long life.
